What you actually get
- What you get
- One throwaway inbox address. No order is created and there is no code.
- Where it is used
- Sign in at app.jichuanai.com/tempmail and that page sends you to the vending site — once there, click “Temporary mailbox” in the top bar. The site opens on phone numbers by default.
- How long it takes
- Instant. The page hands you an address without asking for anything.
- Expiry
- Three days. The address and everything in it are cleared together.
How to use it
Register or sign in
Free. Signing in is the only thing we ask in return.
Open it and click the tab
On the vending site, click “Temporary mailbox” in the top bar. An address appears.
Use it as your email
Enter that address on the site you are registering with.
Read the confirmation there
Mail shows on the same page. The address expires after three days.
When not to buy this
- Banking, payments, or anything identity-bound — no. Those accounts are tied to one address, and when it expires you lose the account.
- Anything you might need a password-reset email for later — also no. After three days the mailbox is gone and the account goes with it.
- The address is bound to this browser. Switch browsers or clear your cache and it is gone — use the code when you get it, do not plan to come back.
- Some sites recognise disposable-mail domains and will ask for a regular address. When that happens, use a real one; we cannot change it.
Common questions
Does it cost anything?
No. Sign in to a Jichuan account and open it — no payment, and no order is created.
Can anyone else read my mail?
Only whoever created the address. It is bound to an identifier in your browser — which also means clearing your cache loses it.
How many can I open?
Five an hour, five live at a time. Normal use never reaches that; the cap exists so the free service does not get farmed.
How is this different from the verification number?
Registering a foreign account usually wants both. Use this for the mailbox; for the phone number, see the verification-number page.
Can I get it back after three days?
No. The address and the mail in it are cleared together.
Goes with
Registering a foreign account usually wants both a mailbox and a phone number.
